Hartley Township Supervisor

Description of office: There are 3 supervisors for each of our local townships, one being elected every 2 years. The Board of Supervisors is the legislative body of the township in setting policy, enacting and enforcing ordinances and resolutions, adopting budgets, and levying taxes. The Supervisors are responsible for planning and zoning, road maintenance, providing for fire and police protection, hiring employees, and the administration of financial affairs. They are also involved with Central Keystone COG, SEDA-COG, sewer enforcement, recreation, and other affairs affecting the health, safety, and welfare of township residents.Term: 6 yearsSalary: $1,800 per yearVote for ONE.

Education Graduated from mifflinburg went to sun tech for hvac and plumbing
Qualifications I have worked for the township for the last 4 years when needed for fixing pot holes plowing, taring and chipping, cleaning ditches and mowing after being in office for 5 yrs i feel like i have a better perspective of the way the township operates
The selling of the laurelton state school, solar farms,and fixing a few of the roads that are in bad shape we are currently in the process of fixing 2 roads now thanks to money the township got from the dirt and gravel rd programs far as the sale of the state school and the solar fields we will try to get feed back from township residents and do what we think is right and what the residents want.
