Education J.D. with Certificate of Advanced Study in Civil Litigation from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law; B.S. Public Policy from the Rochester Institute of Technology
Current Occupation Lawyer and Quasi-Judicial Officer for the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas
Qualifications for Office I am the only candidate with judicial experience, serving as Standing Divorce Master of Monroe County for approximately six years and having adjudicated over 100 cases in the county. I have been a practicing attorney in the county for over a decade, handling every type of case that is heard by a Magisterial District Judge including criminal, civil, landlord-tenant, and protection from abuse cases.
I have taken this issue seriously my entire legal career. As a law student, I volunteered with Southwestern PA Legal Aid Society offering free legal services to victims of domestic abuse. I simultaneously worked with the University of Pittsburgh Civil Practice Clinic to provide free legal services to disabled individuals who were wrongfully denied social security benefits.

Since joining the Monroe County Bar Association over a decade ago, I have worked to provide educational programs throughout the county - most recently working with the Pocono United Way to provide free legal seminars for county residents. Additionally, I have worked with the Bar Association and Legal Aid to provide pro bono or discounted services to Monroe County residents in need of free or low-cost legal representation.

As a Magisterial District Judge, I would be the first line of defense for justice and commit to issuing fair decisions in every case - regardless of whether the parties can afford an attorney.

Education Lackawanna College Police Academy- Pennsylvania Act 120
Current Occupation Police Captain of the Stroud Area Regional Police Department
Qualifications for Office 26 Years of Law Enforcement, Patrolman, School Resource Officer at Stroudsburg Area School District, Head Firearms Instructor, Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Certified Crisis Intervention Team Officer, Oversees Court Liaison Program, 2015 - Lieutenant of Stroud Area Regional Police Department, 2017- Captain of Stroud Area Regional Police Department
I have handled thousands of police calls interacting with people from all walks of life, this has given me a comprehensive and practical understanding of our court system. I will be fair and impartial, treating those who come before me with respect, hearing each case on its own merit. The decisions I make will be based on the facts and will not be influenced by external factors. In my courtroom, the rule of law will be respected and individuals will be held accountable for their actions. I understand that we are all human and sometimes a second chance is deserving, depending on the crime and facts at hand. I will work with the Court of Common Pleas Judges and Court Administration to ensure that District Court is safe and accessible and community resources are available so people can get the assistance they need. My goal as Magisterial District Judge is to ensure the residents of our community have access to justice and have an understanding of the Court’s functions.
