Education Bachelor's Degree from East Stroudsburg University, summa cum laude
Current Occupation self-employed contractor
Qualifications for Office Have been on Borough Council for 14 years, serving as vice-president and chair of the Redevelopment and Codes committees; studied architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic
My mission on council for the past 14 years has been to modernize zoning to attract development without sacrificing the charm of our historic community. This made possible three large projects in our downtown, all of which break ground this year -- The Shanti House on Main Street, the County Courthouse expansion, and the Jacob Stroud Historical Society addition. I also helped streamline the "Special Exception" zoning process to permit more new uses for abandoned properties, which has enabled a large local employer to purchase the former Shoprite plaza.

Council has a long record of improving residents' quality of life: by permitting sidewalk dining; penalizing blighted property owners; bringing app-based parking meters, compacting trash cans, and bike racks to our downtown; even enacting a non-discrimination ordinance. 2021 will bring more changes: new bike lanes to Glen Park, plans for two new Creek Walk trails, an open space impact fee for developers, and mobile radar speed signs.

Current Occupation Kindred at Home Intake Coordinator
Qualifications for Office I am a long-time resident of Stroudsburg borough and I volunteer on Borough Council's Public Relations Committee. I ensure that I attend all council meetings in person or virtually and participate actively in the discussions. I have experience volunteering for various organizations in town, such as The Sherman Theater, Monroe County Democratic Committee, and The Living Room Art Gallery. For 15 years, I have been employed by a local health care company which has afforded me exposure to a wide range of responsibilities that will help me be an effective leader in our community.
I want to help move our council and our borough forward though technology and progressive reform with an emphasis on the environment
