As the incumbent Bucks County Controller I love the work and I love serving my community in this capacity. As Controller, my job is to protect taxpayers and ensure our county government is using tax dollars appropriately. My office is authorized to examine the accounts and official acts of all individuals who collect, receive, or disperse the county's money. During my time as your independent watchdog I have worked to provide an independent check on the fiscal activities of our Bucks County elected leaders. If reelected I will continue to ensure our county government works for you.
When I was first elected, it had been years since many of our county row offices had been audited, depriving Bucks County taxpayers of transparency into how their tax dollars were being spent for years and leaving our County government unchecked. My first act as Controller was to have my office get to work on conducting audits across various departments. Accountability and transparency makes people, systems and organizations better and if reelected I plan on continuing to provide that accountability on a daily basis on behalf of Bucks County taxpayers.

Prior to being elected Bucks County Controller I served as President of the New Hope-Solebury School Board, where I also chaired the Finance Committee. Prior to that I had a successful 15 year career in financial services and commercial insurance.

I moved to Bucks County 28 years ago to raise my family in a safe community surrounded by great neighbors. Now that my family is grown, I want to give back to Bucks County to help ensure that it stays the wonderful place we are all so proud to call our home. I believe that, given my professional and life experience, serving as the county’s top financial officer and fiscal watchdog is the way that I can most effectively give back to our community.

As the Controller, I will make sure that not only are our tax dollars being spent in accordance with the law, but as a voting member on the salary, pension, and prison boards, I will also properly balance the needs of the County employees and the taxpayers.

Through proper fiscal oversight, the taxpayers will have confidence that I am properly overseeing the County departments and County government won’t have to engage in special audits that are now causing animosity and lawsuits. I will provide the taxpayers with proper checks and balance
I have never shied away from hard work and challenges. I put myself through law school as a single mom with three children starting when my youngest was in Kindergarten. Today, my youngest is 23 years old, and I own my own law firm located in Yardley Borough.

Through my practice, I’ve represented government entities investigating fraudulent and questionable spending, and worked closely with forensic accountants and auditors. As a trial attorney, I have the experience to ask the difficult questions that will give taxpayers comfort that tax dollars are being spent wisely and properly.
