It has been a dream of mine to one day be elected to the office where I started working as a summer employee in 1997. To start at the bottom of an organization and now have an opportunity to be the leader is a true example that hard work pays off. Every step in my career as a public servant has led me to this moment. I am ready to serve in this new capacity and continue to provide service, integrity and innovation to the citizens and legal community.
I am hearing that voters value experience and want someone who knows the job. They want to make processes easier and convenient. That has been my goal when I was promoted to Chief Deputy is to bridge the gap with technology and make the office more transparent to the public. I feel the office should reflect the population that it serves and I am committed to recruiting and developing a diverse workforce, which leads to better service for all.
