Información Biográfica

What qualifies you as the best candidate for this office?

What are the most pressing issues facing the public that you plan to address?

What will be your top priority if you are elected and how will you achieve that goal?

When I initially ran for Davidson County Clerk, I sought the office because I understood that the community needed someone in the office they could trust, hold accountable and operate with complete transparency. I am seeking re-election to build on the successes achieved over the past 9+ years. Those successes include the addition of the first self-service kiosk in the State of Tennessee and other automated improvements that safeguard the revenues we collect on behalf of the city and state.
It's been estimated that Nashville's population is growing by approximately 101 people per day and it's almost certain that more than half will seek services from the County Clerk's Office. We plan to grow our staff to better serve the public and to make information regarding our services more accessible to our customers by redesigning our website and including interactive and multi-language tutorial/videos.
I hope to use the next term to: 1. Implement more innovative solutions that take advantage of technological advances, give customers more options for service and reduce wait times; and 2. Incorporate industry best practices and organizational efficiencies that allow us to work smarter and improve overall service.
