I've called Knox County my home for nearly thirty years and during that time, I've had successful careers as an entrepreneur in the entertainment industry, nonprofit sector, and in private sector business. I'm a two-time graduate of the University of Tennessee with a passion for Knox County that's led to a life in the service of others.

For the last three and a half years, I've diligently served as a Knox Co. Commissioner (Seat 10, At-Large) dedicating myself to public service. As an At-Large Commissioner, I've been proud to represent almost 500,000 citizens across the county, making myself accessible while focusing on community initiatives and important projects that have helped make our home a wonderful place to work, live and raise a family.

I believe I'm the best candidate to serve in Seat 10 on County Commission because of my experience as a legislator, track-record of proven results, extensive business experience and passion for serving the community.
Two major challenges that Knox County is facing, include flood mitigation and water quality across the northern half of the county, and pedestrian safety in major growth corridors. I've been working on both these challenges for years, and if re-elected, will work towards their completion throughout my next term.

Beaver Creek is a nearly 50 mile navigable waterway that stretches across the northern half of Knox County and impacts five unique communities (Halls, Powell, Karns, Solway & Hardin Valley). This vital watershed area had been neglected for decades before I pushed to make it a county priority. For the last three years, I've led the charge to clear, clean and care for Beaver Creek. This project will help with flood mitigation and damage from increasing storms, improve water quality throughout the ecological footprint, and offer opportunities for regional recreation and tourism opportunities.

Many of Knox County's major growth corridors have small arterial roads and an increased traffic load. The challenge is finding opportunities for neighbors to access parks and greenspace in a safe manner and without having to drive or park. I've been working on a five-phase pedestrian safety project in the Northshore / Concord / Choto area of southwest Knox County. This project is establishing new greenways, access points and safe crossings to allow nearly 15,000 residents (within one mile) to access 6 park areas and connect neighborhoods with paths for walking, running and riding.
