The County Mayor is the chairman of the budget committee. His main responsibility is to balance the budget without raising taxes. The county mayor has the responsibility to veto items that the County Commission passes that is not within the budget.
Getting the spending under control. Stopping the constant tax, spending and high debt. Having a county government that works for everyone, not just the good ole boy insiders.
Stop spending on un-necessary legacy projects. Use the veto power when needed. prioritize spending to improve our infrastructure.
