Our goal is to invest in and protect Minnesota's future. I am committed to fully funding our public schools to ensure that every Minnesota child, without exception, has access to a world-class education.

I will protect our precious environmental treasures and work to address the climate crisis through the use of clean energy.

Last but not least, I will also work to ensure all Minnesota women have the right to make their own reproductive and healthcare decisions by preserving and expanding access to reproductive healthcare.
Here in Minnesota we have a proud tradition of leading the nation in voter turnout. I will work to ensure that our voters continue to have convenient access to the polls to ensure that all voices are heard. I am a strong supporter of early voting and will work to expand the number of balloting locations to ensure access to the polls for all voters.
Impoverished communities and people of color are often most impacted by environmental hazards. I believe that the wide-spread inclusion of Health Impact Assessments needs to be at the heart of all permitting and regulatory processes in Minnesota. I see this as a key first step in ensuring environmental justice for all Minnesotans. Taking steps to include all communities in the rapidly approaching shifts that will be taking place within our energy sector to ensure opportunities for all
One area of interest I hold is to invest in a rapid transition to clean energy use in Minnesota. I believe we can transition to a cabon-free electrical grid in the next 12-15 years bringing quality jobs and opportunities in every corner of our state. I also believe that we need to invest in broadband access for all parts of the state to provide additional job opportunities. The careful and strategic investment of our historically large budget surplus will ensure opportunities into the future.
I am a strong supporter of background checks for gun purchasers. I support red flag laws when gun owners present a risk of harming others or themselves. I also believe in working to pass legislation that would greatly reduce the numbers of "ghost guns" on our streets.
