1. Keeping Minnesota's strong economy going. We are living in historically low unemployment times and the best way to solve a families economic worries is a good job with a livable wage and benefits. 2. Lowering the tax burden on the middle class. Right now every Minnesotan is felling the pain of inflation. Sitting on a $9.7 billion surplus is irresponsible to taxpayers. 3. Fully funding our schools. Every child in Minnesota deserves a world class education.
Minnesota has some of the highest voter turnout in the country.I would work to protect the early voter program as well as Minnesota's vote by mail options.
This is such a broad question, so many things are connected. I support strong bonding bills that create thousands of jobs across the state, housing programs and bills that tackle the housing inequities here. Fully funding schools to help level the playing field for future generations. There is work to be done in the area of climate change which effects minorities harder the other groups. Prison reform needs to be addressed. We need to support and fully fund law enforcement.
I support bonding bills to create living wage careers in Minnesota. A state that builds, thrives. Inflation is a global issue not just a Minnesota one. Lowering the tax burden on families gives them more purchasing power which in turn gives them some much needed relief.
I support responsible gun ownership and gun safety laws. Stronger background checks for sure. As a gun owner and shooting sports enthusiast I want to ensure the safety of all Minnesotan's. Minnesota has excellent gun safety laws on the books. I support their enforcement.
