Communication between voters of Dist 2 and myself. To be accessible and open minded. I will want to get to know the other commissioners and administration to better understand issues and concerns. And teamwork to advance the county as a whole.
I think right now we do a pretty good job in the county of having affordable housing. I would always be open to opportunities for improvement.
That is more of a state issue. I believe we do a very good job in Freeborn county of having accessible voting locations and opportunities for all to absentee vote if necessary.
I would want to communicate with our administration and staff to get their opinions as advice on the greatest struggles and concerns they have. They work with the public and would know better what their needs are.
Law Enforcement is top priority. Fire and response services. Health care options. Infrastructure - roads bridges and waterways. All are key items to have a safe and secure county.
