There are numerous issues of importance facing our community. All of which will be directly addressed with the appropriate officials in charge of oversight and solutions. Crime, Traffic, Parking, Public Property Maintenance, Public and Private Property Development Oversight, and Dissemination of Knowledge of Government Funded Programs to residents are some of the issues. We have a strong and tight knit community, yet we lack a unified and strategic approach towards resolving the various issues and challenges we face. There has been division within the community for decades regarding the McMillan Development, Private Development, and Gentrification. Discussions in the community regarding these issues are contentious. In many circumstances, a few individual community members and groups on either side control the narrative. They draw hard lines and lack the willingness to empathize and work towards gaining an understanding of their neighbors. I will work to bring our community together.
I am literally outside walking or jogging in the neighborhood daily. I enjoy meeting and talking with my neighbors. For those with interest, I will listen to individual and community concerns, discuss my positions, and together work on how they may utilize me to work on the issues that challenge our community.

I will provide emails with neighborhood updates. At times throughout the year, I will go door to door providing literature with community updates.

I will correspond with our Bloomingdale neighborhood Blog and Email Group to further disseminate information.

I will engage community leaders to request their support and request that they inform our neighbors of community issues.

I will find other outlets as well, likely including social media.
