I have been living, working, and supporting the community I am running for city council in for years, and I will continue to do so as a voice and representative for St. Joseph when elected. I am a firefighter on our city's fire department and I have been on our city's Planning Commission for all of 2022. I have been managing multiple businesses for over a decade, have great communication skills as an Editor and writer, and understand the diverse landscape of our city and how this will affect change in the future.
1) Remove Barriers/Obstacles for Small Businesses - So, prospective small businesses have an easier time getting started and so current businesses can thrive.

2) Promote Public Safety - Make sure we have an adequately funded police and fire departments as well as the necessary resources so they can continue to respond emergencies in our community.

3) Foster and Grow Our Resources - St. Joseph is a thriving, growing, diverse community with a lot to offer and we need to highlight that strength.
We need to assess the budgets of our police, fire, and EMS in St. Joseph to make sure we have adequately funded departments as well as all of the necessary resources they need continue to respond to all manner of emergencies in our community. Faster response times, more staff, and better trained/equipped staff makes for a safer community for all of us when we need to call 9-1-1 or rely on their services.
