Boonton Town Board of Alderman Ward 3

Boonton is designated as a Town and is therefore governed by a Mayor and Board of Aldermen. The Town is divided geographically into four wards with two Aldermen elected per ward. Each ward contains two districts hence two Aldermen. The Mayor serves a 4-year term and is elected by residents from all four wards. Aldermen serve a 2-year term and are elected by the residents of their specific ward. Therefore, the governing body is a nine-member board that includes the Mayor and eight Aldermen (two per ward).

The most important challenge will be restoring public faith in our government and fostering working relationships between our governing body and its civil institutions. I would plan to address them by carefully considering the concerns of our Police Department, Fire Department, Department of Public Works and other government and volunteer institutions.
I am an attorney at a municipal law firm in Morristown. I specialize in providing a wide variety of legal services to New Jersey municipalities. I have also served as Municipal Public Defender in three towns. My professional background in local government and land use law, along with my deep understanding of the community that I developed from growing up in the area, would make me an asset to the Board of Aldermen and to the community.
