I bring a new voice, one that puts community first. Residents want to be heard, and I value their insight. Development has outpaced Edina’s population and ignored resident-driven vision and goals. We need a new direction to fairly and effectively minimize risk, build trust, and ensure wise use of taxpayer dollars. I will lead with stewardship and respect to support livable neighborhoods, not an overbuilt city.

Through my professional land acquisition experience, service to Edina on its Planning and Energy and Environment Commissions, I know the preparation packets provided to council members are not always sufficient. I have the skills, time, and dedication to research further. I will improve process and serve with a community-first lens.
Community-First Decisions—Transparent process that considers all voices. Smart Development—Development aligned with code that supports neighborhood charm and community vision. Projects must show compelling reasons for rezoning and variances. Tax Incremental Financing is for improving blighted areas and enhancing public experience, not ensuring profitability. Livable Neighborhoods—Sound infrastructure, improved emergency response, transparent city budget, well-maintained parks, trails, amenities
Public safety is an essential city service, the foundation of community well-being. Weekly crime reports confirm an uptick in theft, DUIs, speeding, property damage, assault, car-jackings, and fraud. I will meet with residents and Edina’s police and fire departments to understand challenges, needs, and prevention programs. Improving public safety also requires infrastructure investment: we must reprioritize the budget to add a fire station in the NE quadrant and lower emergency response time.
