All of my priorities are tied to helping people and providing growth opportunities in rural Minnesota by keeping our growing younger adults strongly employed and remaining in our communities.

Fully fund public education to realistically provide the budget they need. The public school is the hub of the community. It offers diversity in content, activities (sports, art music, other), and trained professionals.

Provide livable wage jobs in rural Minnesota. Keep farming affordable and provide mechanisms to bring in new farmers while keeping present farm families secure in their businesses.

Bring broadband internet to all properties. One of the first questions our realtors get when showing a property to young people from the cities
Our current system has proven to be safe. The combination of election judges and proper procedure for early and mail in ballots has proven to be secure and easy to use.
Make sure that all schools get the funding they need. Education is key to improving lives.

Multi-lingual services should be available in all state offices. If a translator is not available in the office, set up remote conferencing to aide in service.

Have proper training and support for al law enforcement officers including ethnic differences in each community.
First we need to promote training for the trades through schooling and apprenticeships. This would create a stronger workforce and reduce job shortages.

Supply chain is a major problem. We need to improve working conditions for truck drivers and stop the driver drain. We need to make sure road and bridges are fully up to date.

We need to have price supports for diesel fuel. This would help both the farmers and transportation costs.

Reduce cost for daycare.
1) Provide more school counselors trained in psychology. We need to catch the problem before they arise.

2) Have a waiting period for the purchase of any firearm. This is not depriving anyone of a weapon.

3). Universal background check including on personal and gun show sales.

4) Red flag laws: Gun control law that permits police to petition a state court to order the temporary removal of firearms from a person who they believe may present a danger to others or themselves.
