I have been a part of the Lanesboro community for majority of my life. I grew up on a family farm outside of Lanesboro. I am a graduate of Lanesboro High School. I assisted my parents in opening Granny's Liquor and was their manager for 5 years. I served on the Buffalo Bill Days committee for 8 years. In 2017 I was selected to represent Lanesboro at the Blandin Leadership Foundation Program. I have volunteered to be on the Lanesboro Fire Department. Lastly, I have proudly served on the Lanesboro City Council for 3.5 years. I believe I am the best candidate and that shows with the amount of time and service I have already given to our community. I hope I am able to continue to serve Lanesboro because I simply want the best for our community.
Lanesboro. As city council doing what is best for Lanesboro and its residents is the absolute top priority. No agendas, just wanting the best. Infrastructure. We have made great strides during my time on city council with the new dam, the new waste water treatment facility and the current street project that includes replacing aging sewer and water lines but we have more to do. Growth. Adding businesses and housing will help grow our tax base making it more affordable to live in Lanesboro.
I will continue to give the needed support & recourses to our Police, Fire & EMS services so that they can be well staffed, well trained, & have the right recourses to do their job which is protecting our community. I will continue to promote working with other departments in the surrounding communities because having strong working relationships with our neighbors provides more recourses available to Lanesboro. I will continue to be a volunteer fire fighter on the Lanesboro Fire Department.
