How will you work with your community to promote public safety in our neighborhoods? (500 characters)

I have the Leadership skills, Knowledge of the Lindstrom community and its government, and the Communication skills to be a Voice for the Community. I want every citizen to believe that their voice matters. I am committed to listening, to transparency in action and vote, and to serving Lindstrom’s citizens.

I will always do my homework, remain level-headed, be fiscally sound when making decisions, and focus on the greater good of the community.
Community-Focused City Planning. Residents want a vibrant downtown, safe roads, friendly neighborhoods, limited traffic congestion, and great schools. I will prioritize these goals.

Local Business Development. Lindstrom needs more local jobs and a balanced tax base. I am an experienced business leader and will advocate for economic development.

Fiscally Sound Decision Making. Tax-payer dollars need to be used wisely. I promise to lead with financial common sense.
I am asking each neighborhood what they need. Some want slower traffic, better streetlights, more frequent patrol. Overall people are satisfied with the police department’s service. The bigger issue is road safety – Hwy 8 is dangerous, and Olinda is growing worse. These are my two priority areas – slowing traffic and getting cars to obey cross walks.
