Strong and stable public schools that support opportunities for all students, especially those in rural or underserved communities.

Quality affordable housing for families and the elderly so all can feel safe at home.

Affordable and accessible healthcare for people in Rural Communities so folks don't have to worry about choosing between financial security and medical treatments.
I support the right to vote for every eligible voter. I also think that folks who have made mistakes in the past and repaid that debt should reclaim the full right to vote without delay. I would be in favor of making voting day a holiday and paid time off for voting to make it easier for more people to vote and support pre-registration for young people, automatic registration when updating IDs after a move and other appropriate ideas that would eliminate barriers to voting.
This is an area in which I would need to listen to those with greater experience and ideas. I want to build a greater understanding of the best possible solutions though am also not opposed to those ideas that improve folks situations even if they do not completely solve every problem.

We can build a vibrant economy by moving to clean energy production, building efficient and sustainable housing, and making sure that those who work in the care economy are supported and rewarded for their hard work and compassion.
As a waterfowl hunter in the past, I support those who own guns for the purpose of hunting.

I would support universal background checks, red flag laws, and buybacks for handguns and assault weapons. I would support banning sales of high capacity magazines, and I would support allowing individuals to hold manufacturers accountable through civil action.
