First of all what a privilege it would be to serve the people of East Bethel. To be able to bring a fresh set of ears to go along with a not just a fresh voice. Real world common sense with enormous civic pride and a resident that cares about where he lives. East Bethel faces some dynamic issues along with opportunities and its citizens need to trust that the people they elect are invested in the wellbeing of the city not just today but moving forward. I am not afraid to engage in healthy discussions and speak my mind or ask the tough questions you wanted answered. My past business experience in both private and the corporate areas along with real-estate definitely are a plus as this city grows with the right opportunities that benefit us.
My top priorities involve transparency which will help build the trust needed to work together and as a team both on council and with our citizens . I want people to feel that what we have here is unique and they all had a hand in making East Bethel what it is today and their voice is wanted and welcome in all decisions and challenges we may face. I think this alone will help to un- frustrate the frustrated voter and restore the fact that our citizens do matter as we grow.
The size of East Bethel is in itself a real challenge for Police, and all first responders. Its important to maintain a very healthy relationship with both. Its also very important that our citizens help identify areas of concern and we can act quickly together to find solutions and pass items that make sense and do away with unwanted ordinances that are outdated or just unfair. I think neighborhood watch programs and neighborhood block parties can be beneficial and show appreciation and respect

I have been in the construction industry for 49 years and I am also a licensed realtor for 23 years. I work with people everyday. I am a problem solver and I do my research. I care about our City of East Bethel and all the residents and the businesses here. I will work with the City Council to make the best decisions for all of the situations that come to us. I do not and will not lie to anyone. In my opinion our City needs to be run like a business and that is not the case right now. I was on the Roads Commission and the Planning commission for East Bethel. I have been to almost every City Council Meeting and Planning Commission meetings since 2016. The reason for my commitment is because of poor decisions being made. Thank You
1) STOP wasteful spending. In my opinion there are wants and needs and the way this City is being run right now is on there wants not the needs. 2) Bring back Transparency and Honesty back. I have spoken to a lot residents and they do not trust the City Council and the people in charge and that's sad. 3) Bring back the public forum to be televised. All residents have the right to speak and be heard by all. No more trying to silence our people
Unfortunately our world has changed for the worst in my opinion. I believe we need to have a neighborhood watch in all of our neighborhoods for sure. We need to communicate with our neighbors to look out for each others property when we are gone and let each other know if things do not seem right. We also can contact the sheriffs office and let them know when we might be on a trip so they could possibly do a drive by just to check on our properties. We also can buy camera's for more security.
