Información Biográfica

What is the most important issue facing your Single Member District and how do you intend to address it?

How will you engage with residents to be an effective Commissioner, especially reaching those who are unfamiliar with the role and value of ANCs?

Is there a question you wish we had asked? If so, what is the question and how would you answer it?

Qualifications ANC Commissioner for 3 terms. Degrees: BA and JD. According to NextDoor.com, my frequent posts for neighbors have been viewed for more than 840,000 times in total..
Transportation issues (safety, new sidewalks, sidewalk repair, bike paths, speeding, etc. I co-chair the ANC3D Transportation Committee that is actively engaged with the District Department of Transportation to fix some of our neighborhood's problems.
I am very active on the local list servs, letting residents know what is happening and how they can participate. Will lead effort in adopting new software being offered to ANCs in 2023 to super-charge resident participation in decisions before the ANC. I have worked hard to make sure key documents on which the ANC will be voting are posted ahead of time for residents to comment on or address in the meeting.
How can you help residents deal with District Agencies? Over the past 6 years, I have developed a network of people I work with in the various agencies to help solve problems that residents face. Many times, residents need just a little help to figure out District policies and get an answer to their problems. I try to provide that little help.
